Jury-Duty Spay & Neuter
"A Voice for Those that Can’t Speak "
Education – It is our responsibility to teach the next
generation
At Jury-Duty Spay & Neuter, we feel it is important to
teach our children about the importance and the benefits
of spaying and neutering our companion animals,
free-roaming, community, and feral cats.
Jury-Duty Spay & Neuter will visit our local schools
and community groups to talk about the challenges of
the overpopulation of cats and dogs in the Unites
States and what we can do, as individuals, to help
correct this problem. We tailor each presentation to match the age and
comprehension level of the target audience.
We target schools in Pensacola, Pace, and Milton where the students’ parents
would not necessarily have the discretionary means to pay for a private
veterinarian to sterilize their animals. We supply information on the availability of
low cost spay or neuter surgeries.
If you are a teacher, principal or librarian and would like for us to bring this
program to your school, please email us at jurydutycoordinator@gmail.com.
PUBLIC EDUCATION IS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT IN
SOLVING THE PET OVERPOPULATION CRISIS
We have launched a media campaign in Escambia and Santa Rosa County.
This education campaign represents the first-ever, effort endorsed by key
representatives of the animal welfare and veterinary communities. The
collaborative effort has:
• Encouraged pet owners to spay/neuter their pets.
• Supported, not duplicate, the work of shelters and rescue organizations.
• Tackled the source of the overpopulation problem.
• Promoted saving animals.
Help enable us to continue our educational program and our spay/neuter
programs by contributing today. You may donate online or mail your check or
credit card information to Jury-Duty Spay & Neuter, 109 North Palafox Street,
Pensacola, Florida 32502.
Thank you for helping us be a voice for those that can’t speak.
